Sharing beautiful works of art and happiness

About

I enjoy art ~

Welcome to Art by EEKeating!  Short, sweet and to the point, it is based on my name, Erin E. Keating.   A life-long resident of southcentral Pennsylvania, I am passionate about art.

My love for art began as a youth.  I was lucky to have phenomenal art classes (and teachers) throughout my public-school years.  Being exposed to different art mediums was gift – I tried to take as many art classes as possible.  (I confess to enjoying my art classes quite a bit more than any others!)

I now take art classes as my schedule permits – the more mediums the better! I create with oil; acrylic; watercolor; mixed media; pencil, pen and ink. While I have preferences, I try to explore different mediums – each has its own characteristics. In addition to painting, I enjoy figure and sketchbook drawing, origami, and creating jewelry.

Passionate about creating art and sharing beauty,
I am an art enthusiast.

Several pieces of my artwork have appeared in local exhibitions.
